King’s College has developed a comprehensive program to educate and provide support to our students throughout their undergraduate experience at the College. Respect for the dignity of each person regardless of their background, 性别, 性别认同, 性取向, 能力, religious beliefs/practices, ethnic and racial backgrounds is core to the experience of the King’s College community.

Prior to arriving on campus all new first-year and transfer students must complete the first phase of the program focusing on issues regarding sexual assault and alcohol and drug use. The modules address risks and decision making on these issues.

Throughout the Holy Cross Experience Course (HCE 101) incoming students further their understanding of sexual misconduct and alcohol and drug us年龄. They gain an understanding of campus policies and the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and participate in bystander education training, which demonstrates when to intervene and how to do so safely in order to help other students and members of the community. We also provide additional educational experiences including speakers and showing of the documentary The Hunting Ground, as well as other programs on these and other topics to help students develop as a person.

每半年地, the College conducts a Campus Climate Survey utilizing materials from Skyfactor/EBI to evaluate the campus on issues related to diversity and sexual assault. These results are used to help improve our educational efforts, awareness and service for students.
